Fun history lesson about the Cook Islands
Great history lesson on the Cook Islands and surrounding area. Also good to know that part of the proceeds are going to schools, to educate the local children in their culture.

Informative tour and beautiful inland area
The Highland Paradise day tour is worth considering if you would like to visit a beautiful inland setting, hear about the history and culture of the area, and go for a walk through glorious tropical gardens with lots to see. First you go on a tour of the cultural centre, and then you go on a gentle walk through beautiful tropical gardens to see various sites including an ancient marae (meeting house). They also showed us the many uses of a coconut and explained the different plants in the area. The tour was well organised and ends with a tasty lunch and then you are dropped back to where you stay. Suitable for all ages.
